We do not have a set number of cars for any particular event. We do have a range of what we think is acceptable and maintains the TrackDaze high standard of driving events with as little track traffic as possible. Depending on the course and the experience of the drivers each run group could be larger or smaller than the next. While we try to keep run groups small we watch registrations, and the experience level of each driver, closely as the run groups start to get "full". Depending on the difference in experience we may cut the run group off at a certain number of cars to give them a bit more space on track, because they may be a bit more inexperienced at watching their mirrors and giving point-bys.
As for the registered list. It reports in real-time anyone that has registered. Whether it is for both days or one day only. So even though it may show that there are a certain number of a particular run group the actual run group size for each day may be different.
Example - Let's say the "View Attendees" list shows 33 Intermediates registered for an event. This may seem kinda high for smaller tracks, but it could break down like so:
- 18 Both Day
- 7 Saturday ONLY
- 8 Sunday ONLY
So basically the run group size for Saturday would be 25 cars and 26 for Sunday.
